The designation as A Place of Hospitality would be meaningless unless it was backed up by standards of
performance that were measurable ... and monitored. So here is a brief description of the standards for the highest
three levels of certification:

Hospitality Foundation Program
This program is optional, but it will open your eyes to some incredible possibilities.
Actively work with Two-Star members to help them earn their third star.
This is another level of peer evaluation. Teams visit other APOH operations, stage
incidents and evaluate how well they are handled.

Actively work with Three-Star members to help them earn their fourth star.

Meets all Five- Star standards plus ...
Actively work with Five- and Six-Star members to help them earn their next level of certification.
Principals hold local introductory workshops and share the
APOH program with non-member operators.

This group helps set the future direction and content of the APOH Program.
